These terms apply when you use the Monetor app, website, early access waitlist, and related services. By using Monetor, you agree to these terms.

What Monetor is

Monetor is a personal finance app for iPhone. It helps you record transactions, scan receipts, track bills, follow goals, manage loan schedules, and view assets. Monetor is a tracking and organization tool. It is not a bank, broker, accountant, tax adviser, investment adviser, or credit provider.

No financial advice

Information, summaries, forecasts, alerts, and AI-assisted insights in Monetor are for general personal organization only. They are not financial, tax, legal, accounting, investment, or credit advice. You are responsible for decisions you make using the app.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. Use accurate information and do not share access with anyone who is not authorized. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact hello@monetor.co.

Your data

Your financial records belong to you. You give Monetor permission to process your data only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. See our Privacy Policy for details about collection, storage, and deletion.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Monetor. This includes attempting to break into the service, bypass security, scrape private data, overload APIs, upload malware, interfere with other users, reverse engineer restricted parts of the service, or process data you do not have the right to handle. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Subscriptions and payments

Monetor may offer free and paid plans. Prices, billing periods, trials, renewals, and cancellation options will be shown before purchase. App Store purchases are handled by Apple and may also be governed by Apple's terms. Unless required by law or the applicable app marketplace rules, fees are not refundable after a paid period begins.

Availability

We work to keep Monetor available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or permanent availability of any feature. We may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service.

Third-party services

Monetor may depend on third-party services for hosting, authentication, analytics, payments, app distribution, diagnostics, and other infrastructure. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

Disclaimers

Monetor is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee that records, calculations, imports, receipt scans, market data, or AI-generated outputs will always be complete, accurate, current, or suitable for your needs.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Monetor and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, financial losses, or business interruption arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify users in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to conflict of law rules.
